Canada Express Entry — The Fastest Route to PR for Skilled Workers
Express Entry is the quickest and most efficient way to obtain Canada Permanent Residency.
What is Express Entry?
Fast-track immigration system for skilled professionals to get Canada PR.
Express Entry is Canada’s federal system for managing skilled worker immigration. It isn’t a visa in itself it’s a competition. You submit a profile, IRCC assigns you a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and periodically invites the highest-ranked candidates to apply for permanent residency.
Since its launch in 2015, Express Entry has become the most popular pathway to Canada PR for Indian professionals and for good reason. The fastest Express Entry applications are processed in as little as 6 months after the ITA. No other developed country offers this speed at this scale.
- Points-based CRS ranking system
- Fast processing time (as low as 6 months)
- Includes multiple programs under one system
- No job offer required (in most cases)
Why Choose Express Entry
A smart and fast-track immigration system
Express Entry is one of the most preferred immigration systems due to its speed, transparency, and merit-based selection process. Candidates are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), and those with higher scores receive invitations to apply for PR.
- Fast processing
- Transparent point-based system
- No job offer required (in many cases)
- Direct pathway to Permanent Residency
- Opportunity to include family members

Step-by-Step Process
How Express Entry Draws Work
- Draw type: All-programs, FSWP-only, CEC-only, or category-based (targeted at specific occupations or French speakers)
- Minimum CRS cut-off: Only profiles at or above this score receive ITAs
- Number of invitations: IRCC controls how many ITAs are issued per draw
Your strategy should be built around which draw type your profile is best positioned for.
Receive an ITA
What Happens After You Receive an ITA?
Once invited, you have 60 days to submit a complete PR application including all supporting documents. This is where most errors happen. Incomplete documents, formatting mistakes, or missing translations cause significant delays and occasionally refusals.
Our team prepares the entire application package, conducts a final quality review, and submits it through the secure IRCC portal on your behalf.
Typical post-ITA timeline:
Application submission: Within 60 days of ITA
Biometrics: Booked and completed in India
Medical exam: Completed at IRCC-approved panel physician
Decision: Typically 6 months from submission
COPR issued: Land in Canada within 1 year of medical exam date
Why Choose Prudont
How Prudont Helps You Win the CRS Competition
The difference between receiving an ITA and waiting indefinitely often comes down to a few CRS points and those points can come from places candidates overlook:
- Language re-testing strategy — Moving from CLB 9 to CLB 10 in one skill area can add 30–50 CRS points. We calculate whether retesting is worth your time.
- ECA audit — If your degree evaluation wasn't done correctly, you may be leaving significant points on the table.
- Spouse profile optimisation — Adding a strong-profiled spouse to the application changes the scoring entirely.
- Category-based draw targeting — We monitor IRCC draw patterns and advise when to submit your profile for maximum draw alignment.
- Provincial nomination strategy — If your CRS score is unlikely to be competitive in federal draws, we identify the provincial stream most likely to nominate your profile.
