- Work Experience: At least 1 year full-time skilled work experience (NOC TEER 0/1/2/3) within the past 3 years can be international
- Education : Canadian secondary credential OR foreign equivalent (ECA may be required)
- Language : CLB 4–6 minimum depending on occupation (lower than Express Entry)
- Job Offer : Non-seasonal, full-time job offer from an eligible employer in the designated community
- Settlement Funds : Must demonstrate sufficient funds to support yourself on arrival
- Intent to Reside : Must genuinely intend to live and work in the recommending community
Language minimums vary by community. Some accept CLB 4 for NOC TEER 3 positions making RNIP accessible to applicants who don’t meet Express Entry thresholds.
