You've Done Everything Right. So Why Does Canada Still Feel Out of Reach?

You finished your BSc Nursing. You’ve put years of work into clinical experience. You know you’re skilled at what you do.
But every time you research working in Canada, you hit the same wall:

WES / ECA

where do you even start, and how long does it take?

The LPN exam

what is it, and how is it different from what you studied?

Work permits

thousands of pages of IRCC rules and changing guidelines

Job placement

no Canadian employer wants to hire someone they haven't met

Most qualified nurses give up here. Not because they can’t do it. Because nobody showed them the actual route through.
That’s what Prudont does.

Why Nurses Choose Canada

The Complete Canada Nursing Pathway One Team, Every Step

From India to a Canadian clinical setting in 4 to 8 months.

ECA & IELTS Guidance

Your BSc Nursing degree must be evaluated for Canadian recognition through WES (World Education Services) or the appropriate credential assessment body. We prepare your complete documentation package, guide you through the submission process, and ensure everything is in order before we move to the next step. Alongside this, we guide your IELTS General Training preparation to meet the minimum 6.0 Band requirement for nursing registration in Canada.

LPN Training & Licensing

The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) designation is the most direct pathway to a clinical nursing role in Canada for internationally trained nurses. Critically: it is not the NCLEX. The LPN exam is a separate qualification, and our training curriculum is designed specifically to prepare Indian nurses for it. We provide access to our structured training modules covering the Canadian nursing curriculum, exam strategy, and clinical terminology alignment.

Work Permit Processing

Once your LPN application is submitted to the provincial regulatory authority, we begin processing your Canadian work permit in parallel. Our in-house immigration team handles the full application. You don't need a separate immigration agent — we manage both the licensing and immigration stream.

Job Placement in Alberta

We have established relationships with healthcare facilities and employers in Alberta — Canada's fastest-growing healthcare market. Qualified candidates are connected with employers directly. You can begin working as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) while your formal LPN designation is confirmed, then transition to full LPN clinical roles.

CAREER PATHWAY (The financial & career reality)

What a Nursing Career in Canada Actually Looks Like

Canadian nurses earn significantly more than their counterparts in India — with structured career progression and a clear path to permanent residency.
Career progression table:

Stage
Role
When
On arrival
Personal Care Aide (PCA)
From landing, while LPN designation finalises
After LPN designation
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Full clinical nursing role
After 12–24 months
PNP application
Provincial Nominee Program for PR
Long-term
Permanent Resident → Citizen
5 years of residency

The PCA role is not a step back. It is how you establish your Canadian work history quickly while your LPN paperwork completes. Most candidates move to LPN roles within weeks to months, not years.

Important note (legal compliance):
Salary figures vary by province, employer type, and experience. We discuss realistic income expectations during your free eligibility call — based on your specific profile and Alberta market conditions at the time of your application.

Common Questions

Questions We Hear Every Day

Still have questions? Browse below or contact our team directly.
Do I need to pass the NCLEX to work as a nurse in Canada?
No — not for the LPN pathway. The NCLEX is required for Registered Nurses (RN). Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) write a separate licensing exam administered by provincial bodies. Our training is built specifically around the LPN exam.
Yes. If you are a final-year BSc Nursing student with 1,000 or more accumulated clinical hours, you can begin the ECA and IELTS preparation process now. This means you are positioned to move quickly the moment you graduate, rather than starting from zero.
We discuss all costs transparently during your free eligibility call. There are no hidden fees. Every program cost is confirmed in writing before you commit to anything. We don’t believe in surprises.
From ECA application to job offer in Canada, most candidates complete the full process in 4 to 8 months. The primary variable is your IELTS preparation timeline — candidates who already hold a 6.0 Band score or above move significantly faster.
After 12 months of Canadian work experience, most provincial nominees from Alberta are eligible to apply through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). We guide this process as part of our long-term client relationship.
Prudont Immigrations operates as an immigration consulting firm based in Vadodara, India, advising clients across Canada, Australia, Europe, and the GCC. We discuss the specifics of our authorisations and the scope of our services during your free eligibility call.
